Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebasti Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacobs comes into the arena with Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting blaring out of the sound system. Alvarez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks. On his way into the cage it seems that Gomer Jacobs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gomer Jacobs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Alvarez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jacobs tries for a takedown but Alvarez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alvarez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Gomer Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Alvarez defends well and Jacobs ends up having to push Alvarez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alvarez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alvarez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Alvarez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jacobs has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
