The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian slaps away a takedown attempt from Refn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Christian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Christian moves into the clinch.
Refn wants to take the fight to the mat but Christian manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolas Refn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Refn cracks Christian with a nice body shot.

Refn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Refn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Refn is pulling down on Christian's head. It's preventing any offense from Christian, at least for the moment.
Christian wants to get up but he can't break Refn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Refn has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Christian should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Refn has tightened it up now! Christian should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
