Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Waldorf Astoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hu Kokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Astoria might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Waltz from Les Sylphides. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
38 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Waldorf Astoria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hu Kokov!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astoria throws a leg kick but Kokov moved away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kokov.
Astoria throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Astoria looks to score with a jab to the body but Kokov is just out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Astoria looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Astoria dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kokov. That did some damage!
Kokov throws a solid leg kick but Astoria takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kokov.
Astoria missing with a left hand there. Kokov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Astoria shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

letting Astoria counter with a right hand.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kokov.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kokov is defended easily by Astoria.

enabling Kokov to counter with a crisp jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kokov.
Astoria misses with a low kick.
Astoria throws a nice outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kokov. Astoria does a little dance to reset his feet.
Waldorf Astoria is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Astoria on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kokov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kokov misses the shot to the body.
Kokov misses with a low kick.
Kokov clobbers Astoria with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kokov avoids the body shot from Astoria.
Kokov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Astoria keeping hold of Kokov's head, controlling as best he can.

Astoria has one foot on Kokov's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Astoria slips under a jab from Kokov.
Kokov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Astoria.
Kokov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Astoria has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kokov throws the left hand but Astoria avoids the punch easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kokov. Astoria does a little dance to reset his feet.
Astoria throws a leg kick that misses.
Kokov lands with an overhand left.

Kokov cracks Astoria with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

A solid leg kick lands there for Kokov.
Astoria throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kokov.
