Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giant Monster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Giant Monster!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong throws an off balance right hand
and Monster counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Monster tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kong avoids it.
Monster jumps guard.
Kong being controlled here momentarily.
Monster is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kong presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Monster can't get the takedown.
Monster breaks the clinch.
Monster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kong tries to avoid it but Monster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kong to the ground. Kong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Kong. No joy for Monster on that attempt.

Kong catches Monster with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Monster shoots in looking for a takedown. Kong tries to sprawl out of it but Monster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Monster tries a head kick but it misses.
Kong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kong misses with a hook. Monster ducked under it nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Giant Monster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monster moves away.

That was a close round but I would say that King Kong will probably get the nod.

Monster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kong walks away with a smile on his face. Monster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Kong counters with a stiff right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kong. Monster does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monster has closed the distance and engaged Kong in a clinch.
Kong is pressed up against the cage. Monster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kong down to the mat. Kong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

King Kong showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
