The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norks is looking to clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Taisto Tappura will probably get the nod.

Norks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tappura throws a leg kick but Norks checks it.

Tappura lands a nice leg kick that just misses Norks's sensitive parts.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tappura lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Norks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Norks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tappura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Norks.

Tappura loads up on a big right hand but Norks slips the punch.

and Norks counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Norks.

Tappura wants to sweep but no luck.
Tappura bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Norks's guard.
Tappura wants to control from the top but Norks keeps moving.
Tappura's corner is telling him to maintain position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Norks holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Tappura - that will leave a mark!

Tappura throws a front kick that sends Norks stumbling back into the cage.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tappura here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Norks drops Tappura with a big knee straight up the middle! Tappura is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Norks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oh Tappura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Norks is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Norks shuts the power down on Tappura. Lights out, game over! Norks is your winner.
