Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorn Anthriel!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Raptor!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raptor slips under a jab from Anthriel.
A slow jab from Anthriel misses its intended target.
Raptor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Raptor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anthriel moves away.
Raptor just misses with a punch to the body.
Anthriel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Raptor doesn't seem bothered though.
Raptor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Raptor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Raptor is pushing down on Anthriel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Anthriel is fighting to maintain full guard but Raptor has managed to sneak the leg through.
Anthriel is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at RAM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Raptor is fighting to break Anthriel's control of his arms but Anthriel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Anthriel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Raptor or perhaps it was just good defense by Anthriel which made him look bad.

Raptor shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anthriel eats them both and turns towards Raptor to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Raptor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Raptor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Anthriel is out of range and Raptor settles back down.

Raptor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anthriel circles away quickly and effectively.

and Raptor counters with a low kick, right behind Anthriel 's knee.
Anthriel throws a body punch but Raptor moves out of range.
Raptor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Anthriel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Anthriel there as he acknowledges the shot.

Anthriel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Anthriel lands with a hook. Raptor tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Anthriel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Anthriel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Raptor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anthriel throws out the jab.

Anthriel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Anthriel lands a big right hook! Raptor looks hurt but is still standing! Anthriel lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Raptor falls down and Anthriel dives in with a huge hammer fist! Raptor's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Anthriel runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
