Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Kringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kringle's entrance music is Wating on the world to change, by John Mayer. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Kringle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St pierre! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St pierre misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kringle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. St pierre wants to get back to full guard. Kringle stops St pierre from getting back to his feet.
Kringle drops an elbow to the side of St pierre's head. We've been hearing good reports from Kringle's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. St pierre wants to improve his position but Kringle is controlling well.
Kringle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kringle takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! St pierre is looking to escape. St pierre is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kringle scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kringle lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kringle tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kringle wants to pass the guard but St pierre is defending well. Kringle stops St pierre from getting back to his feet.
Kringle working over St pierre with some ground and pound. St pierre looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. St pierre looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kringle tries to pass the half guard into mount. St pierre knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kringle lands with a punch from half guard. Kringle scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kringle drops an elbow to the side of St pierre's head. Kringle working the head and body with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kringle scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
St pierre is rocked! St pierre wants to control but Kringle is keeping busy and won't allow it. St pierre is still in real trouble! Can Kringle finish him? Nice strikes from Kringle there. Kringle lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked St pierre! More strikes land and this one is all over! Kringle jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Kringle! After winning the bout, Chris Kringle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. The defeated George St pierre had this to say: 'i came in this fight nowing i was gonna lose because i already said that i didnt want to fight veterans, only newcomers.'.
