Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alistair Brockton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gareth Davies!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Davies throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brockton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Davies is in Brockton's guard.
Davies stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brockton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brockton looking for a sweep. Not yet Brockton, not yet.

Brockton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davies can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Davies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brockton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies has managed to get both his arms back between Brockton's legs - danger averted.

Davies has gone for a leg lock! Brockton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Davies's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brockton pushing down on Davies's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Brockton is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Davies has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Davies manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Davies has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brockton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brockton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Davies looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Davies looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Davies!

Davies tries for a kimura but Brockton is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Davies thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Brockton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Davies off and has taken his back!

Brockton working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Davies is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Brockton has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Davies taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alistair Brockton!
