Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel James Crawford! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford loads up on a big right hand but Clack slips the punch. Clack thows a body shot but no joy. Clack lands a leg kick that knocks Crawford off balance momentarily. That kick from Clack tenderised Crawford's leg. Crawford is trying to keep his angry face on. Crawford misses the shot to the body. Donk. Crawford catches Clack right on the button with a cross. Clack scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Clack misses the shot to the body. Clack wants to slow Crawford down by chopping away at his legs. Clack misses the shot to the body. Clack misses with a head kick.
Clack lands a nice hook to Crawford's body. Crawford takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Clack just misses with a punch to the body.

Clack is looking to wear down Crawford with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Crawford throws a body punch but Clack moves out of range. Crawford takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Crawford takes a swing at Clack's ribcage but misses. Daniel James Crawford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crawford steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clack. Nice defenses there by Clack. Clack misses with a low kick.
Crawford thuds his right hand into Clack's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Crawford lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Clack does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Clack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crawford. Clack takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Clack getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Clack throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crawford was covering up waiting for the punch and Clack finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Crawford throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Clack looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Crawford tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clack controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Crawford looking to sweep here. No luck so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crawford keeping moving, preventing Clack from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clack buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Clack. Clack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crawford.
Crawford misses with a left hand and Clack counters with a single leg into guard. Crawford didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clack passes Crawford's left leg - he's now in half guard. Clack is thwarting Crawford's attempts to control the position. Clack trying to control the action but Crawford is working from the bottom.

Clack keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Crawford's head. Crawford is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Clack trying to control but Crawford is working from the bottom. Clack controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clack passes into half guard. Crawford is not content to let Clack control the position. Crawford has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Clack is working away from the top position though. Clack is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clack tries to pass the half guard into mount. Crawford knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Crawford preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Clack avoids a punch combination nicely.
Crawford throws a combination that misses so Clack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Clack lands a couple of elbows. Clack is standing up over Crawford. Crawford looks to escape but Clack dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clack controlling the position from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clack is putting a hurting on Crawford here, landing some big shots from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clack staying calm. Crawford bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clack misses with a head kick.

Kenny Clack dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Clack connects with an inside leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Clack is defended easily by Crawford. Crawford on the wrong end of a nice hook. Clack throws a leg kick that is checked and Clack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Crawford misses with a right hand and Clack counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clack. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clack trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Crawford manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Clack is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kenny Clack. A telegraphed right hand from Crawford misses the target. Clack takes a shot right to the bread basket. Clack throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Clack drops his hands momentarily and Crawford takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Clack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford on the wrong end of a nice hook. Clack throws a combination that misses letting Crawford counter with a right hand. Clack throws a sloppy head kick and Crawford moves out of range easily. Clack lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Crawford avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Crawford throws a right and a left that both miss. Clack gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A cross from Crawford lands. Crawford swings widly with a right hand
and Clack counters with an outside leg kick.
Crawford chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Clack can pounce on him.
Clack is looking to clinch but Crawford is avoiding it.
Crawford connects with a right hand. Clack shakes it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crawford stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crawford tries to avoid it but Clack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crawford to the ground. Crawford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Crawford's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Crawford will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Clack counters with a shoot takedown. Crawford fights it but they end up in guard. Crawford takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Clack is looking to work some ground and pound but Crawford has wrist control. Daniel James Crawford has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clack postures up and lands a big shot to Crawford's brow. Clack trying to control the position from guard on top but Crawford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crawford can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clack controls the pace. We've been hearing that Clack has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crawford has momentary wrist control but Clack slips an elbow through the middle.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenny Clack showed his dominance in that final round. Well Clack has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
