Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Skydny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Lluca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skydny comes to the cage accompanied by infected mushrooms artillery. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Valentin Lluca!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skydny lands a leg kick that knocks Lluca off balance momentarily.
Skydny fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lluca fails to land with a series of punches.
Skydny moves in looking to clinch but Lluca pushes him off.
Skydny throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Skydny tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lluca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Skydny.
Anton Skydny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skydny slips a jab and a cross from Lluca.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Skydny enables Lluca to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Skydny manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lluca is looking to work some ground and pound but Skydny has wrist control.
Skydny wants to control the position but Lluca says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Lluca has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lluca moves into full mount! Skydny won't be happy about that!
Skydny tries to lock up and control but Lluca gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Skydny tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lluca with a couple of short strikes.
Skydny is bucking up trying to escape but Lluca cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lluca is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Skydny can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Skydny tries to hold on but Lluca pushes him away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lluca tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lluca looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Skydny is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Lluca lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lluca lands a nice shot to the head.

Lluca takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Skydny sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Skydny wants to control but Lluca is keeping busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Skydny misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lluca fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Skydny throws a nice head kick!
Lluca lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Skydny tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Lluca counters with a takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lluca content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

You can see the frustration on Skydny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Valentin Lluca wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lluca swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lluca slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Valentin Lluca hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Skydny buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Skydny shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lluca as he avoids it easily.

Skydny clinches up with Lluca and pushes him back against the cage.
Skydny tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lluca just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anton Skydny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lluca prevents a takedown attempt there.
Skydny looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Lluca has hold of one of Skydny's legs. Skydny is fighting the takedown attempt but Lluca gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Skydny wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lluca is now in half guard.

Valentin Lluca has got the better of the ground game so far.

Valentin Lluca showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Skydny.
Skydny moves out of range of the strikes.
Skydny clobbers Lluca with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Skydny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lluca closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skydny to the mat! Skydny manages to get full guard.
Lluca controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Skydny throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lluca escapes and throws Skydny's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lluca is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Skydny looking for a sweep but Lluca has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Lluca with a couple of short strikes.
Lluca postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Skydny looks a forlorn figure.
Lluca cracks Skydny with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lluca postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Skydny out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Lluca goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Valentin Lluca!
