The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brown throws a leg kick but Gajewski sees it coming and moves out of range.

Gajewski tries to keep at a distance but Brown has taken the fight into the clinch.

Brown is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gajewski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Brown to the mat. Brown regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gajewski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
