The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinds throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brandao moves into the clinch.
Brandao throws a punch but it's blocked by Hinds.
Brandao will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hinds up against the cage.
Brandao has Hinds pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brandao pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hinds tumbling to the mat - Brandao dives into Hinds's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brandao throwing strikes from guard but Hinds blocks nicely.
Brandao passes Hinds's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hinds tries to roll over but Brandao keeps him under control.
Brandao in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hinds tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brandao!
