5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, B Ron Trilliss! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shlemenko moves into the clinch. Shlemenko using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Shlemenko connects with a knee to the head.
A knee to the head by Shlemenko.
Trilliss takes an elbow to the temple. Shlemenko prevents a takedown attempt there.
Trilliss has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shlemenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Shlemenko lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice glancing elbow lands by Shlemenko. Shlemenko putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Trilliss in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Shlemenko with a knee to the head.
Trilliss takes an elbow to the temple. Shlemenko lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Shlemenko creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Trilliss's defenses. Shlemenko lands a damaging elbow.
Trilliss is rocked! Shlemenko tries a knee to the head but Trilliss blocks it.
Trilliss is still on wobbly legs! Can Shlemenko finish him? Shlemenko misses with an elbow over the top. Shlemenko throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Shlemenko throws a knee to the head but misses.
Trilliss avoids the elbow strike from Shlemenko, against the cage.
Shlemenko creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Shlemenko pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Trilliss blocks the elbow strike.
Shlemenko with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trilliss seems to have recovered his senses. Trilliss drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shlemenko pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fedor Shlemenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of B Ron Trilliss. Nice uppercut lands for Shlemenko. That snapped Trilliss's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trilliss fails with a takedown attempt. Trilliss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shlemenko counters with a stiff right hand. Trilliss looks winded! Trilliss wants to clinch but Shlemenko slips to the side and Shlemenko counters with a crisp right that sends Trilliss to the canvas! Shlemenko follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
