Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio Suarez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Suarez! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Suarez. Suarez fails to land with a series of punches.
White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Suarez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Suarez lands with a nice combination. White backs away looking to recover. White shoots in for a double leg but Suarez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George White. That's going to take a lot out of him. Suarez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Suarez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Suarez wants to free his trapped foot but White is holding on for dear life with his legs. Suarez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suarez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. White keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Suarez working White over with strikes. Suarez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed White's head. Suarez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for White to stand up. Suarez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but White checks it well. Suarez throws a solid leg kick but White takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Suarez. White takes one to the side of the head.
White misses with a takedown attempt and Suarez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suarez.
Suarez fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suarez cracks the inside of White's front leg. A punch combination from Suarez misses. Suarez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suarez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Suarez looking to punish the body of his opponent here but White is avoiding damage well.
Suarez scores with punches from side control. Suarez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Suarez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Suarez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but White sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Suarez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suarez lands a few punches from side control. Suarez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by White, who protects the arm well. Suarez working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Suarez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Suarez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there. White parries the strikes from Suarez easily there. Suarez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable White to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suarez is putting a hurting on White here, landing some big shots from side control. Suarez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and White works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. White blocking the ground and pound attempt from Suarez. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Suarez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Suarez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Suarez misses with a head shot. White uses the momentum to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Suarez dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Suarez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging White to the ground. Suarez is now in White's guard. Suarez throwing strikes but missing. Suarez lands a couple of decent looking shots. Suarez with a flurry of punches that miss. White working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Suarez. Suarez throws a big right hand that misses. Suarez throwing strikes but missing. Suarez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suarez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Suarez stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and White has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Suarez manages to get his head free but now White has transitioned to an armbar! Suarez grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from White! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
