The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGillivary fails with the takedown
and Lynch counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McGillivary's guard now.
Lynch trying to control the position from guard on top but McGillivary is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lynch sitting in guard, not really doing much.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McGillivary is on top in guard.
McGillivary content to stall in guard here.
Lynch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McGillivary trying to control but Lynch is working from the bottom.
McGillivary looking to sit in guard and control but Lynch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
McGillivary is trying to keep Lynch in close.
McGillivary throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lynch escapes and throws McGillivary's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lynch wants to control but McGillivary is keeping him busy.

Lynch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

You can see the frustration on McGillivary's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lynch lands an elbow.
McGillivary wants to control but Lynch postures up.
Lynch content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Lynch goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McGillivary has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lynch but great work by McGillivary.

Lynch manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
McGillivary looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lynch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McGillivary missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
McGillivary wants to free his trapped foot but Lynch is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lynch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGillivary pulls his head out easily.
Lynch wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McGillivary in particular looking to stall.
Lynch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGillivary is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Lynch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGillivary darts in looking for a takedown but Lynch gets double underhooks and turns McGillivary into the cage.
Lynch has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McGillivary clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Lynch has good solid back control here.
McGillivary tries to roll but Lynch sticks to his back.
Lynch misses with an elbow to the head.
Lynch doesn't have the hooks in and McGillivary manages to turn into his guard.

McGillivary throws a sloppy strike and Lynch has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! McGillivary is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Lynch!
