Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doroftei Smka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Iii Solidum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clinton Iii Solidum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doroftei Smka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clinton Iii Solidum! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Solidum to the mat! Solidum manages to get full guard. Smka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Solidum keeping moving, preventing Smka from controlling successfully. Solidum is pulling down on Smka's head to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smka postures up in Solidum's guard and throws a big left but Solidum blocks it. Smka wants to control from the top but Solidum keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Doroftei Smka just wasn't active enough. Smka rushes Solidum and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solidum has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Smka clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Smka is really stuck here.
Smka has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Smka is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smka trying to control but not successfully. Smka is trying to stand back up. I really don't envy Smka right now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smka scores with a takedown into Solidum's guard. Smka trying to control but Solidum is working from the bottom.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Solidum wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Smka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Doroftei Smka wasn't doing enough on the ground. Solidum has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Solidum there as he acknowledges the shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solidum gets caught flat footed, as Smka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Solidum has his hands on Smka's head, controlling the position. Smka wants to control from the top but Solidum keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Doroftei Smka wasn't doing enough on the ground. Smka manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Solidum on his heels. He'll look to pass Solidum's guard now, I'm sure. Solidum trying to keep a closed guard but Smka is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smka wanted to stand there but Solidum had control of the position. Solidum is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Doroftei Smka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Smka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smka showed some decent athleticism there. Solidum is looking for a sweep. Smka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solidum wants to control but Smka is keeping busy.
Solidum is concentrating on defense, preventing Smka from advancing position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smka is looking to clinch. Smka fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Smka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solidum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Solidum struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smka goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Solidum has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Smka but great work by Solidum. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A control attempt from Smka but he's now mounted! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doroftei Smka dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Smka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Smka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Smka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Solidum's head. Smka throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Solidum regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Smka.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Solidum is proving hard to escape from. Smka passes easily into side control. Nice work. Solidum dodges the ground and pound from Smka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smka has control of an arm but Solidum manages to advance to Smka's back! Smka is really stuck here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smka tries to escape but Solidum has the hooks in and won't let him break free. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Clinton Iii Solidum hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Smka drives through with a takedown into Solidum's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Doroftei Smka. Smka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Clinton Iii Solidum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Doroftei Smka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Smka is controlling the pace.
