The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Solidum to the mat! Solidum manages to get full guard.
Smka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solidum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smka goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Solidum has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Smka but great work by Solidum.
