Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesse Pinkman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dallas Riley!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pinkman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riley to the mat! Riley manages to get full guard.
Riley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Riley has a closed guard, preventing Pinkman from standing up.
Pinkman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Jesse Pinkman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Pinkman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Riley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Riley has momentary wrist control but Pinkman slips an elbow through the middle.
Riley is trying to control the position but Pinkman postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Riley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pinkman controls the pace.
Riley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pinkman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Pinkman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pinkman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jesse Pinkman just wasn't active enough.

Pinkman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Riley, pushing him back against the cage.
Riley stalling in the clinch but Pinkman improves position.

Pinkman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Riley uses from the top position.
Pinkman is pulling down on Riley's head. It's preventing any offense from Riley, at least for the moment.

Pinkman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Riley passes into half guard.
Riley is looking to take a break and control but Pinkman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pinkman is controlling Riley's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Pinkman tries to get to full guard but Riley has control of the leg.
Riley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pinkman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are battling for position here. Pinkman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pinkman pulls Riley in close to his closed guard and prevents Riley from doing any damage or advancing position.
Riley postures up and lands a big shot to Pinkman's brow.

Riley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Pinkman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Riley's half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Pinkman has managed to clinch.

Pinkman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pinkman moves into the clinch.
Riley jumps guard but Pinkman stands there with Riley around his waist. Riley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Riley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pinkman gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Pinkman as Riley tries to tie him up.

Riley is trying to break the clinch but Pinkman has him pressed against the cage.

Pinkman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinkman controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pinkman passes into half guard.

Pinkman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Riley has managed to free his arm - good work.
Riley has hold of Pinkman's hands but Pinkman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pinkman prevents Riley from improving his position.
Pinkman passes to side control.

Pinkman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pinkman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Riley's guard.
Riley can't keep his opponent in guard - Pinkman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Riley wants to improve his position but Pinkman is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Pinkman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Riley defends it well.
Riley tries to roll over but Pinkman keeps him under control.
Pinkman slips a nice elbow through Riley's hands, connecting with Riley's forehead.
Still in half guard, Pinkman seems content to control.
Riley won't allow Pinkman to pass to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jesse Pinkman wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Pinkman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pinkman.


Riley is rocked!
Riley blocks a head kick by Pinkman.
Riley is still on wobbly legs! Can Pinkman finish him?
Pinkman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pinkman lands a huge takedown. Riley is out but the ref is slow to react and Pinkman lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Riley lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse Pinkman!
