Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul McKilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mewes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul McKilly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Mewes! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mewes misses with a takedown attempt and McKilly counters with a stiff right hand. Nice jab there from McKilly. Mewes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and McKilly counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mewes thinking. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McKilly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. McKilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McKilly closes the distance and clinches. McKilly is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. McKilly is trying to break the clinch but Mewes has him pressed against the cage. Mewes looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. McKilly avoids the elbow strike from Mewes, against the cage.
Mewes is looking to take this one to the mat. Paul McKilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Mewes. McKilly throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mewess head. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKilly gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Mewes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McKilly walks away with a smile on his face. Mewes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. McKilly takes the fight into the clinch. McKilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McKilly gets in close and instigates a clinch. McKilly working hard to break the clinch. Mewes is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Mewes tries to break the clinch but McKilly is controlling the position. McKilly is struggling to control the position. McKilly lands with a short punch from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKilly stalls. McKilly is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. McKilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McKilly drops Mewes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mewes looks back up at him and smiles so McKilly waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mewes is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McKilly lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul McKilly! Paul McKilly seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
