Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavarello changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gallagher tries to avoid it but Lavarello manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gallagher to the ground. Gallagher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck for Lavarello with that takedown attempt.
Gallagher circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lavarello cracks Gallagher with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lavarello tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gallagher looks to land a left hand but Lavarello moved out of range nicely.
Lavarello has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lavarello there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gallagher misses with a head kick.
Kevin Lavarello seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gallagher loads up on a big right hand but Lavarello slips the punch.
Gallagher keeps the fight on the outside.
Gallagher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lavarello as he avoids it easily.
Lavarello avoids the head kick by Gallagher.
Gallagher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lavarello tries to clinch but Gallagher moves out of range.
Lavarello tries to clinch up but Gallagher circles away and keeps his distance.
Lavarello fails with the takedown
and Gallagher counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lavarello!
Robbie Gallagher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Lavarello.

Lavarello can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Gallagher.
Gallagher thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Gallagher is breathing heavily.
Lavarello is working to get back to half guard.
Lavarello sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Gallagher wants to stand but Lavarello has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Gallagher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lavarello is doing well to control the position and prevent Gallagher from advancing to side control.
Lavarello gets full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lavarello has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gallagher doesn't defend quickly enough and Lavarello has managed to lock this one up! Can Gallagher escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lavarello on a fantastic submission victory.
