Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fakhri El Hashem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Hashem comes to the cage accompanied by Kassaman. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fakhri El Hashem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Clay!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by El Hashem.
A jab from El Hashem finds it's way through Clay's defenses.


It looks like Tyson Clay has been cut.

Oh, that's a big right hand from El Hashem and Clay goes tumbling to the canvas! El Hashem follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


Clay is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
El Hashem wants to get back to his feet.
Clay is still in real trouble! Can El Hashem finish him?
Clay wants to control but El Hashem is keeping busy.
El Hashem wants to stand up but Clay has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Clay seems to have recovered his senses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Clay counters with a nice body shot.
El Hashem cracks Clay with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Clay counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
El Hashem looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

El Hashem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clay.

Clay is working for a kimura here but El Hashem manages to reverse the position and he's now in Clay's guard.

Clay is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. El Hashem presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
El Hashem has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

A frustrated look appears on El Hashem's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Clay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

El Hashem throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Clay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has El Hashem pinned against the cage. El Hashem gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That has opened up Tyson Clay's cut even more.
No joy there for El Hashem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clay sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
El Hashem tries to stand but can't do so whilst Clay controls his leg.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Clay is trying to get back to full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
El Hashem is thwarting Clay's attempts to control the position.
Clay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control El Hashem haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We're going to have a standup here because Fakhri El Hashem wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Clay has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clay there as he acknowledges the shot.
