Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Fawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Lobnibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Patrick Fawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roman Lobnibson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fawn throws a leg kick which misses Lobnibson's front leg but catches the back leg as Lobnibson tries to avoid it.
Fawn connects with a leg kick. Lobnibson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Lobnibson wants the takedown. Fawn is fighting it off but Lobnibson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fawn's guard against the cage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Roman Lobnibson wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fawn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lobnibson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Lobnibson has eaten all the pies!

Fawn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lobnibson. Lobnibson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fawn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lobnibson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fawn has managed to get both his arms back between Lobnibson's legs - danger averted.

Lobnibson wants to stand and escape but Fawn is having none of it.

Lobnibson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fawn. That one must have hurt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lobnibson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fawn - the referee stops the clock and Lobnibson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fawn. Lobnibson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fawn.
Lobnibson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fawn.

Fawn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lobnibson.

No joy there for Fawn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fawn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lobnibson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fawn throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lobnibson's head.
Lobnibson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
