Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Chuck Lentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hoop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Hoop was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Lentz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Hoop! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoop's corner calls for a 1-2. Hoop obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Lentz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoop. Hoop scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hoop looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lentz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lentz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hoop. Some wild striking there from Lentz.
Hoop pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lentz back to the ropes. Hoop follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Hoop takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hoop showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lentz.
Hoop misses with a wild body shot. Lentz misses with a straight right. Lentz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hoop throws a shot to the body.
Lentz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Lentz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hoop counters by clinching up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hoop struggles to land a body shot inside as Lentz controls his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoop manages to break the clinch.
Hoop lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hoop throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lentz. A nice inside leg kick there by Lentz. That's going to slow Hoop down. Hoop looks winded! Lentz lands a glancing blow to the side of Hoop's head. Lentz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hoop. Hoop is looking to clinch but Lentz is avoiding it.

Hoop throws a right and a left that Lentz avoids nicely. Lentz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big right from Lentz misses. Hoop throws a right hand that Lentz ducks under and follows up with a left that Lentz also avoids with ease. Hoop misses with a series of wild punches.
Lentz lands a front kick to the face, that drops Hoop to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
It looks like John Hoop has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Lentz. Those never looked like landing. Lentz cracks Hoop with an open hand slap. Hoop moves in looking to clinch but Lentz pushes him off. A combination from Lentz does no damage. Hoop takes the fight into the clinch. Lentz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hoop has him pressed against the ropes. Lentz wants to break free but Hoop has control.
Lentz is trying to force a seperation but Hoop has the dominant position. Hoop is looking to break free of the clinch but Lentz has double underhooks. Hoop breaks the clinch.
Lentz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hoop closes the distance and clinches. Hoop lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lentz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lentz is trying to break the clinch but Hoop has him pressed against the ropes. Lentz is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hoop is keeping busy. Hoop is pushing Lentz up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A frustrated look appears on Hoop's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lentz wants to get back to striking at distance but Hoop won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoop displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hoop feints a jab promting Lentz to slip. Hoop then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lentz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Lentz works the jab nicely. Hoop uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lentz. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hoop!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lentz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lentz lands a jab to the nose. Lentz looks to score with a jab to the body but Hoop is just out of range. Hoop circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lentz throws a head kick that misses. Hoop's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hoop duly obliges. Lentz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hoop walks into a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Lentz should take that round, based on the knockdown. The cut man is working on John Hoop's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoop looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lentz connects with a quick right hand that sends Hoop tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Chuck Lentz!
