Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Flair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Flair might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ruste Juxx-Vic Flair. Peterson has chosen Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin as his entrance music. Vic Flair has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vic Flair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Peterson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Peterson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Peterson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Flair backs up against the cage.
Peterson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Flair drives through with a takedown into guard. Peterson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Flair is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peterson gets control of Flair's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peterson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Peterson keeping moving, preventing Flair from controlling successfully. We've been hearing that Flair has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Peterson cracks Flair with a good jab. Flair wants to clinch up but Peterson keeps it at a distance. Flair blocks a jab. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Peterson!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Flair on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Peterson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Peterson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Peterson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Peterson! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on Flair's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Flair managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Peterson.

Flair tries to close the distance and clinch but Peterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Flair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peterson's waist but Peterson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flair off to one side. Peterson stuns Flair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Peterson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flair goes for a double leg but Peterson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Peterson continues to drive forward. Peterson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Flair pulls him back up using the underhooks. Flair using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Peterson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flair prevents Peterson from getting back to his feet. Peterson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet.
