Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dominik Cyran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conde Koma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conde Koma will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dominik Cyran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Conde Koma! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koma tries to clinch up. Koma fails in his attempt to clinch. Koma closes the distance but Cyran moves to the side and Cyran counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Koma! Cyran misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cyran taking a breather here. Cyran has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Koma is not content to let Cyran control the position. Koma pushes Cyran away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cyran gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cyran is working Koma over with some ground and pound from side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cyran is staying tight to Koma's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've been hearing that Cyran has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Koma takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cyran looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Koma is avoiding damage well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cyran throwing shots but missing, from side control. The strikes coming from Cyran are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Koma pushes Cyran away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cyran gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cyran scoring with punches and elbows. Koma wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Koma managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Cyran.
Cyran grinds an elbow into Koma's temple. Koma parries the strikes from Cyran easily there. Cyran is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Koma to escape.
Cyran prevents Koma from escaping the position. Cyran working the ground and pound from side control. Koma is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Koma on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koma is not content to let Cyran control the position. Koma seems a little lost for a moment, as Cyran dominates the positioning. Cyran wants to lay and pray for a moment but Koma keeps working. Koma is pushing Cyran's head away, looking to escape. Cyran manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cyran working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Cyran landing a few strikes. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Koma pushes Cyran away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cyran gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. A lull in the action here. Koma takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cyran lands a decent elbow from side control. Koma is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Cyran has just dragged him back down to the mat. Cyran is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Koma will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Cyran landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Cyran scores with a couple of short elbows. Cyran working the ground and pound. Koma is trying to escape the position but Cyran is controlling the position. Koma is not content to let Cyran control the position. Check out the look on Cyran's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cyran works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Koma takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Koma is rocked! Cyran scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Koma is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cyran can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dominik Cyran!
