The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Deere.
Halle scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Deere to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
It looks like John Deere has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Deere throws a head kick but Halle moves out of range.
Deere throws a lazy head kick
and Halle counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Deere on his ass! Deere wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!
Deere is rocked!
Deere is breathing heavily.
Halle grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Deere takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Halle cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jens Halle!
