The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Halle tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it.

Rogers tries to keep at a distance but Halle has taken the fight into the clinch.
Halle using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rogers has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Rogers wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Halle has him pressed against the ropes.

Halle creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Halle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rogers lands with a nice body punch.

Halle throws a nice looking combination but Rogers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Halle sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rogers moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rogers tries to bum rush Halle with a series of wild strikes but Halle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rogers throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Rogers looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rogers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Halle. Halle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rogers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Rogers counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Halle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Halle tries to close the distance and clinch but Rogers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Halle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Halle there as he acknowledges the shot.
Halle tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

It looks like Jens Halle has been cut.
Rogers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Halle is rocked!
A punch lands to the side of Halle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Halle is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him?
Rogers is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Rogers shuts the power down on Halle. Lights out, game over! Rogers is your winner.

A relieved looking Dan Rogers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
