Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hae Ki Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hae Ki Park was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hae Ki Park! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin lands with an overhand left. We've been told by Martin's head coaches at K.O. Koala's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Park walks into a left hand. Park lands with a shot to the body. Martin throws a right hand that misses
and Park finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Park connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Park avoids a punch combination nicely.
Martin throws a series of punches but Park avoids them all with ease. Martin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice cross by Martin. Park throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martin sees it coming and avoids it easily. A big left from Martin misses. Nice shot lands for Martin. The fighters circling - Martin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Park scores with a nice strike. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Park tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Park is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Martin. Martin misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Park steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Martin. Martin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Park manages to avoid it. Park drops his hands momentarily and Martin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Martin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Park. Park takes a jab right on the kisser.

Martin is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Park blocks a leg kick. Nice defenses there by Park. Martin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Martin throws a quick inside leg kick. Martin lands with a hook. Park tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Martin seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park forces Martin back against the cage and clinches. Park throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Martin tries to break free but Park pushes him back against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Martin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Park is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Park throws an elbow but it misses.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Martin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Martin. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martin tries to throw a body punch but Park avoids it by throwing Martin back against the cage. Park will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Martin up against the cage. Still in the clinch, Park scores with a nice short uppercut. Martin is pushing Park up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Martin is looking to control Park's arms but Park gets an underhook and turns him. Now Martin has his back to the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Steve Martin will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Steve Martin's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Park moves away. Martin misses with a looping right. Steve Martin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Park throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Martin's head. Park pushes Martin up against the cage in a clinch. Park tries to stall but Martin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Martin digs a right hand underneath Park's ribcage. Park let out a lung full of air as it connected. Park throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martins head. A shot in the inside from Park. Martin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Both guys are working to get underhooks.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Martin. Martin tries to work over Park's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A left hand lands to the body for Martin.

Martin takes a swing at Park's ribcage but misses. Park feints and then cracks Martin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martin down. Steve Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin throws a shot from downtown. Park moves away and avoids it. A big right from Martin misses. Park uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hae Ki Park seems to be getting the better of the standup. Park looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Park moves out of range of the strikes.

A telegraphed right hand from Martin misses the target. Martin cracks Park with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Park throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Park throws a shot from downtown. Martin moves away and avoids it. Martin misses with a combination
and Park counters with a head kick. That will keep Martin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Park finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Martin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Martin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Park looks to land a body kick but Martin moved away. Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Park tries to score with a low kick but Martin moves his leg out of the way. Park misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martin circles away quickly and effectively. Park is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Martin. Park tries to clinch but Martin moves away and Martin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Park throws a solid leg kick but Martin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Park. Park moves forwards but Martin connects with a nice, crisp jab. No joy there for Martin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Park misses the shot to the body. Martin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hae Ki Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Park tests Martin's chin there with a solid looking shot. Martin throws a hook to the side of Park's head but Park sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Park misses with an uppercut. Park takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Park makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Martin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Park counters with a head kick that wobbles Martin - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Park sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hae Ki Park! Jumping up and down and very excited, Hae Ki Park waved his t-shirt featuring BeastMode's logo in front of the cameras.
