Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Ludher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vartan Mamikonyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludher's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Shook Ones Part II - by Mobb Deep. Mamikonyan has chosen True Armenian Hero as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludher stuffs the takedown attempt from Mamikonyan. Mamikonyan gets slowly back to his feet.
Mamikonyan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ludher tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mamikonyan is in Ludher's guard.
Ludher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mamikonyan is looking to work some ground and pound but Ludher has wrist control.

Horrible takedown by Mamikonyan or perhaps it was just good defense by Ludher which made him look bad.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ludher swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mamikonyan.
Ludher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mamikonyans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Vartan Mamikonyan has been cut.
Mamikonyan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ludher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mamikonyan has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Ludher throws a right and a left that Mamikonyan avoids nicely.

Ludher clobbers Mamikonyan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Ludher has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Ludher bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mamikonyan's head backwards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Ludher.
I think Mamikonyan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
