Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Jecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jecht comes to the cage accompanied by The Lumberjack. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sir Jecht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Silva! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Silva loads up on a big right hand but Jecht slips the punch. Silva throws a series of punches but Jecht moves out of range. Jecht ducks under a wild hook from Silva. Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Jecht misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jecht throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Silva is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jecht lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jecht fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jecht takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jecht staying out of range there. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jecht misses with a two punch combination.
Jecht is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks. Silva misses with an uppercut. Jecht saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva throws a series of strikes that have Jecht backpedaling.
It looks like Sir Jecht has been cut. Jecht lands an overhand right. Silva misses with a double jab.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jecht is rocked! Silva passes to full mount! Oh Jecht is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jecht has given up his back.
Silva is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jecht has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Silva has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jecht taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Silva doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ronaldo Silva! During a confident post fight interview, Ronaldo Silva thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
