Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gilberto Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gilberto Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kramer is defended easily by Belfort.
Kramer swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Belfort counters by clinching up.
Belfort is trying to break the clinch but Kramer is controlling him.
Belfort wants a takedown.
Kramer pushes off an throws an elbow but Belfort leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Belfort drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Belfort is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kramer stops Belfort from standing up.
Kramer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kramer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Belfort is proving hard to escape from.

We're going to have a standup here because Gilberto Kramer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Belfort is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kramer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belfort, who protects the arm well.

Kramer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Belfort's shoulder. That is not cool.

Kramer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Belfort as he jumps to the side.
No luck for Belfort with that takedown attempt.

Kramer moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Belfort avoiding damage as Kramer throws knees to the body.

Kramer decides to pull guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kramer is trying to control the position but Belfort postures up.
Ryo Belfort has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
