Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustang has chosen Little Rock as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Stanfield! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Mustang! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mustang staying out of range there. Stanfield changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mustang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mustang wants to get back to his feet but Stanfield drags him back down. Stanfield remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mustang isn't going anywhere. Stanfield decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mustang to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mustang drives through with a takedown into Stanfield's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Mustang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mustang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mustang trying to control but Stanfield is working from the bottom. Stanfield is looking to stand up but Mustang isn't so interested in that idea. Mustang looking to sit in guard and control but Stanfield gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mustang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Roy Mustang was stalling too much, according to the referee. A big left from Mustang misses. Stanfield defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mustang. Mustang forces Stanfield back against the cage and clinches. Stanfield is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Stanfield misses with some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanfield is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mustang gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stanfield misses with the head strike.
Mustang has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stanfield uses from the top position. Mustang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stanfield defends well. Stanfield slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mustang looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stanfield stops Mustang from standing up.
We're going to have a standup here because Aaron Stanfield wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Mustang takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mustang fails to land the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stanfield tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mustang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stanfield's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Mustang dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stanfield gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stanfield misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mustang.
Stanfield throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mustang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stanfield pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stanfield looks to land a right hand but Mustang moved out of range. Stanfield moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Stanfield shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mustang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mustang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stanfield defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mustang wants to stand up but Stanfield is controlling him. Stanfield engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stanfield pushing down on Mustang's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanfield is just content to waste time from the top position. Mustang takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mustang trying to keep a closed guard but Stanfield is proving a slippery customer.
Stanfield is looking to stand up but Mustang won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanfield wants to stand and escape but instead Mustang has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Mustang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mustang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mustang pushing down on Stanfield's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mustang not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mustang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
My spies in Imperium MMA Gym(4 Sprbt 4*+)(15 Coach)$850 inform me that Mustang has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Mustang wants to pass the guard but Stanfield is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mustang controlling the action here. Mustang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stanfield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mustang is just content to waste time from the top position. Stanfield takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mustang trying to control but Stanfield is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Aaron Stanfield will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Mustang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stanfield quickly recovers to half guard. Mustang trying to control from half guard but Stanfield is working away. Stanfield pushes Mustang off looking to stand but Mustang dives back in and keeps control.

Mustang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stanfield doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mustang. Mustang is trying to control. Stanfield wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mustang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stanfield makes his way to full guard, as Mustang worked for a kimura.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanfield keeping moving, preventing Mustang from controlling successfully. Roy Mustang has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roy Mustang. Mustang shoots in and drives through. Stanfield sprawls well. Stanfield feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stanfield stops Mustang from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanfield wants to control from the top but Mustang keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Aaron Stanfield has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mustang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stanfield moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stanfield tries to clinch up but Mustang circles away and keeps his distance. Mustang shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fight stays on the outside here - Stanfield looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mustang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mustang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stanfield keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mustang swings around for an armbar but Stanfield sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mustang's guard. Stanfield won't allow Mustang to get back to his feet. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mustang lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stanfield! Mustang is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stanfield to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stanfield shrugs it off. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stanfield wants to control but Mustang is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Mustang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mustang has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
