Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Galt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ender Wiggin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galt comes to the cage accompanied by State of the Union by Rise Against. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Galt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ender Wiggin!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wiggin.
Galt connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


It looks like Ender Wiggin has been cut.
Galt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wiggin misses with a leg kick

and Galt counters with a series of strikes that sends Wiggin to the canvas! Galt follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!


Wiggin is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Galt passes Wiggin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Wiggin is still in real trouble! Can Galt finish him?

Galt seems to be looking for submissions.
Wiggin is trying to control but can't.
Wiggin is looking for a sweep. Galt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wiggin seems to have recovered his senses.
Wiggin is still trying to improve position.
Galt wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Wiggin uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Galt tries to free his leg and advance position but Wiggin is retaining full guard.
Galt trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiggin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wiggin controls Galt momentarily but Galt frees himself.

Galt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wiggin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Galt has Wiggin in his guard.
Wiggin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ender Wiggin wasn't active enough on the ground.
Wiggin tries to close the distance and clinch but Galt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Galt swats away the attempt to clinch by Wiggin.
Galt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wiggin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Galt will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wiggin tries to clinch there but Galt circles away.

Galt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Galt, right into the meat.

Wiggin cracks Galt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Galt lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Galt lands a nice hook to Wiggin's body. Wiggin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wiggin tries to clinch but Galt moves out of range.
Galt lands a jab.
Galt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Galt looks to land a body kick but Wiggin moved away.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Galt and Wiggin goes tumbling to the canvas! Galt follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Galt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wiggin sees it coming and defends easily.
Wiggin controlling the position well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Galt is trying to control the action in half guard but Wiggin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Galt dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ender Wiggin's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Wiggin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wiggin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Galt backwards.

I was talking to Galt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Galt takes an elbow to the temple.

Galt tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wiggin smiles and moves away.
Galt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wiggin throws out the jab.
Galt throws the left hand but Wiggin avoids the punch easily.

Galt checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
John Galt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wiggin swings for the body but Galt moves out of range.

Wiggin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Galt pushes off an throws an elbow but Wiggin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Wiggin fails to land.
Knees in the clinch landing for Wiggin.
Wiggin misses with an elbow strike.
Galt has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Galt fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wiggin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Galt gets through Wiggin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Galt wants to break free but Wiggin has control.
Galt is trying to pull guard but Wiggin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Galt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wiggin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Galt's brow.
Galt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wiggin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Galt backwards.
Wiggin creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Galt's defenses.
Wiggin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Galt tries to pull guard but Wiggin holds him up against the cage and eventually Galt drops back down to his feet.
Wiggin misses with some punches.
Galt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ender Wiggin seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Wiggin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Galt backwards.
Wiggin lands a nice shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Galt tries to pull guard but Wiggin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wiggin throws an elbow but misses.
Galt wants to break the clinch but can't.

Wiggin comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wiggin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Galt takes a knee right on the jaw!


Galt is rocked!
Wiggin lands a left hand.
Oh Galt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wiggin lands a vicious elbow to the side of Galt's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Wiggin tries to finish him with strikes but Galt still seems able to defend himself so Wiggin steps back and lets Galt get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wiggin lands an elbow just above Galt 's eye.
Wiggin scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Wiggin connects with a knee to the head.
Wiggin lands a damaging elbow.
Wiggin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Wiggin creates a bit of distance for himself, with Galt pressed up against the cage and cracks Galt with a massive uppercut! Galt goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Wiggin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ender Wiggin!
