Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Larry David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sick Puppy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David slips a straight right by Puppy.
David with a jab.
Good work by Puppy as he checks the leg kick.
Puppy lands a jab to the nose.
Puppy swings for the body but David moves out of range.
Puppy misses with a leg kick.
David misses the shot to the body.
Puppy closes the distance and clinches up with David, looking for a takedown. Puppy pushes David against the cage but David circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Puppy or perhaps it was just good defense by David which made him look bad.
Puppy feints and then cracks David's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow David down.
David throws a push kick but Puppy slaps the foot to one side.
Sick Puppy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puppy slips under a jab from David.
Puppy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Puppy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. David sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Puppy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but David was well out of range. Poor timing from Puppy.

Puppy throws a left and a right that both miss
and David counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Puppy is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Larry David is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Puppy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Puppy lands a really nice looking cross but David seems unphased.
Puppy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from David.
Puppy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from David finds it's way round the side to connect with Puppy's head.
David clinches up with Puppy and pushes him back against the cage.
Puppy wants a takedown but no success here.
Larry David has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sick Puppy.

David lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Puppy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. David fights it off and pushes away nicely.

David lands a big head kick that sends Puppy tumbling to the mat! David takes a step backwards and waves Puppy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Puppy doesn't manage to clinch there - David circles away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've been hearing good reports from David's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
