Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asbolus Pholus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook comes to the cage accompanied by Lifeless by 12 Stones. The key to victory for Dane Cook has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Asbolus Pholus! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Cook.
Cook cracks Pholus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Pholus shoots in looking for a takedown but Cook manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pholus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cook tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pholus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cook takes a swing at Pholus's ribcage but misses. Pholus on the wrong end of a nice jab. Pholus misses with a takedown attempt - Cook sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pholus fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dane Cook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Asbolus Pholus. Pholus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Pholus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pholus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cook wants to control but Pholus is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cook works his way to full guard. Good work. Cook is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pholus throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cook's body to avoid the submission. Cook has instead reached around Pholus's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cook arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dane Cook! Dane Cook decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
