Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikki De Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Hazay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fenix comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Fênix. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ikki De Fenix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hanzo Hazay! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from De Fenix does no damage. Hazay misses with a hook. De Fenix displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hazay throws out the jab. Hazay swings for the body but De Fenix moves out of range.
De Fenix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

De Fenix's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and De Fenix duly obliges. De Fenix scores with a jab to the head.
A jab from Hazay does it's job there. De Fenix scores with a jab. Hazay acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big right from Hazay misses. Hazay's corner calls for a 1-2. Hazay obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hazay takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hazay lands with a right hand. De Fenix scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. De Fenix lands with a straight right. Hazay didn't see that one coming.
Hazay is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. De Fenix throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Hazay's jaw, knocking him onto his back! De Fenix dives in looking to finish as Hazay flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block De Fenix's strikes! De Fenix is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hazay's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hazay was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ikki De Fenix! Ikki De Fenix tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
