Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calamity Horror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Calamity Horror! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jones swinging wildly here.
Horror catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Horror lands with an overhand left. Donk. Horror catches Jones right on the button with a cross. Horror connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Horror throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jones takes one to the chin there. Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Horror lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Horror!
That's one minute gone in the round. Horror fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head. Horror bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head. Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A left and a right from Horror both land. Nice combination.
It looks like John Jones has been cut. Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Horror lands a jab to the nose. Jones needs to keep his hands up - Horror had a free shot at his head there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Horror scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Horror scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Horror scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horror throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Horror displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Calamity Horror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horror catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. Nice cross by Horror. Horror pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Horror follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Calamity Horror is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jones tries to clinch up. Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Horror. Horror lands a jab to the nose. Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Horror scores with a nice head shot. Horror throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Horror to score with a decent uppercut. Jones looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horror throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Horror listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horror getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A jab from Horror does it's job there. Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Horror. Horror slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Horror throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones dives in and grabs Horror's left leg, looking for a takedown. Horror pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. A big left from Horror misses. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Horror connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Jones fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horror scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Horror lands with a nice body punch. Horror punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch. Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horror tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Horror, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Horror against the cage but Horror circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Horror moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Horror goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Horror manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horror moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calamity Horror dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Jones's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Horror waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones has Horror pressed against the cage, preventing Horror from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Horror after a bit of a struggle. Horror is trying to break free. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jones fails to land the takedown. Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Horror pinned against the cage. Horror gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones tries to clinch up but Horror circles away and keeps his distance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horror avoids the body shot from Jones.
Horror throws a one two combo.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Horror sprawls well. Horror wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Horror cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Horror fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Horror swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jab by Horror. Nice straight punches there by Horror. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horror. Horror thuds a left hand into Jones's body. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Horror scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horror fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot. Jones tries to clinch but Horror moves out of range. Horror avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horror might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Horror lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover. A right-left combo lands from Horror. A left lands for Horror. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Horror circles away.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Horror sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Good exchange - Horror coming out on top. Horror throws out a powerful jab. Horror lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover. Jones tries to clinch but Horror moves out of range. Horror will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination. Jones looks for a takedown but Horror sprawls well. Horror lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Horror. Horror scores with a punch to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in but Horror avoids the takedown attempt easily. John Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horror cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jones misses with a head kick.
Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Horror. Horror misses with a few strikes there.
Jones slips a jab from Horror. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Jones moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Horror is trying to break free. Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Horror after a bit of a struggle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calamity Horror showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on John Jones's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Horror manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Horror throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones dives in and grabs Horror's left leg, looking for a takedown. Horror pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Horror lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jones fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jones tries to move into range but Horror moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Horror lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Horror works Jones's body with a nice hook. A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride. Horror throws a right and a left that both miss. Horror thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice takedown defense from Horror. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Nice straight punches there by Horror. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horror.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Horror sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Horror keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones lands a head kick!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Horror, as that shot connected.
Jones tries to clinch up. Jones looks to land a body kick but Horror moved away. Horror connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A shot to the liver by Horror. Beautiful body shot. Jones slips under a jab. Horror takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Horror is working the combinations to good effect here. Jones has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Horror swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a head kick that Horror semi-blocks.
Horror misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. Horror throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Horror. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones moves into range and clinches up with Horror. Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Horror sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones displaying some good clinch control by pressing Horror up against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Horror tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Horror to the ground. Horror escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Horror misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Horror tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Horror manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
And that's the end of the fight! Calamity Horror comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Horror winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
