Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samuel Colt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aaron Fish! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Colt gets the takedown into side control. Fish prevents Colt from improving position. Colt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Colt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fish gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Fish landing a few short strikes. Fish is doing well to control the position and prevent Colt from advancing to side control. Fish is looking for a sweep. Colt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colt trying to mount his opponent but Fish defends it. Fish is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Fish keeps control of the position for the meantime. Fish won't allow Colt to pass to mount. Fish avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Colt. Colt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fish is looking to improve his position.
Fish regains full guard. Nicely done. Fish working a defensive guard here.
Colt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fish swivels though and keeps the full guard. Colt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Colt is pushing down on Fish's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fish is fighting to maintain full guard but Colt has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colt is working for an americana but Fish has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Colt was thinking about the submission. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Colt tries to free his leg and advance position but Fish is retaining full guard. Fish looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fish looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fish is on top in guard.
Colt tries to land a sweep but no joy. Colt working a defensive guard here.
Colt has an active guard here but Fish has managed to pass into half guard.
Colt is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fish slows the pace down in half guard. Colt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Colt slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Colt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fish wants to control from the top but Colt keeps moving. Colt lands a decent shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fish sitting in guard, not really doing much. Colt is looking for a triangle but Fish pushes his legs off easily.
Fish sitting in guard, not really doing much. I looks like Fish might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Colt wants to control the position but Fish says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Fish is taking a breather. Colt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Colt has a hand on Fish's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Fish takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Colt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aaron Fish will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fish misses with the combination.
Colt is looking to clinch. Fish shoots in and bounces Colt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Colt wants to improve his position but instead Fish has moved into half guard.
Fish is working for a kimura but Colt is defending it quite comfortably.
Fish wants to take a breather but Colt is having none of it. Colt looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt wants to get back to full guard. Colt is working hard here to advance position. Colt is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fish pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Colt tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Colt has his takedown stuffed and Fish counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Colt tries to get to full guard but Fish has control of the leg. Well, if Fish is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Fish has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fish trying to mount his opponent but Colt defends it.

Fish slows the pace down in half guard. Colt is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Fish is tapping! Great win for Colt!
