Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Saffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saffy comes to the cage accompanied by Still Unbroken. Eddie Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Saffy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets the takedown into side control. Jones grinds an elbow into Saffy's temple. Jones has knee on belly momentarily but Saffy bucks him off and regains half guard. Jones is keen to just control but Saffy is a slippery customer. Jones has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Main Event Gym . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Jones prevents Saffy from improving his position. Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saffy has managed to free his arm - good work. Saffy is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! Jones trying to control but Saffy is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saffy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Saffy regains half guard. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Saffy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jones is looking to stall here but Saffy recovers full guard. Jones working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saffy keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass. Jones postures up.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Saffy pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage. Jones preventing the sweep. Saffy is breathing heavily. Jones wants to pass the guard but Saffy is keeping the position. Saffy has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Saffy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Saffy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Saffy has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle. Saffy keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones wants to pass the guard but Saffy is keeping the position. Saffy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Saffy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Saffy seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to pass the guard but Saffy is keeping the position. Saffy trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones is looking to advance position but Saffy won't allow it. Saffy is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.

Eddie Jones dominated that round. That's time! Saffy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saffy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Saffy is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The strikes coming from Jones are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Saffy wants to control but Jones postures up. Saffy is looking for a sweep. Jones trying to control the position but Saffy is working away. Saffy taking a bit of punishment here - Jones scoring with strikes. Eddie Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Saffy is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones looks up at the clock and then as Saffy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jones smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jones wants to control but Saffy is keeping him busy. Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Saffy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Saffy is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saffy keeps working. Jones tries for a kimura but Saffy is defending well. Jones lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Saffy wants to control but Jones postures up. Saffy regains half guard. Saffy tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Saffy moves into full guard.
Saffy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones scoring with some ground and pound. Saffy is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones trying to control but Saffy is working from the bottom. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saffy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Saffy defends well. Jones scores with a nice shot. Saffy wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Jones wants to sweep here but Saffy controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saffy works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Saffy passes to full mount! Jones tries to hold on but Saffy postures up. Saffy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jones has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jones! Jones wants to pass the guard but Saffy is keeping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones effectively controlling the action here. Saffy looking to stall.
Jones is struggling to control the position. Saffy pulls guard effortlessly. Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones working away. Jones is chipping away with strikes.
Jones scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Saffy to see if he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones lands a nice forearm strike.
Saffy is rocked! Saffy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oh Saffy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Saffy down.
A big shot lands for Jones! That's hurt Saffy! Will he recover? Jones fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Jones!
