Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gab Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gab Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Griffin! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely. Griffin dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt.
A left and a right from Griffin both land. Nice combination. Some wild striking there from Griffin.
Griffin swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Griffin fails with a takedown attempt. Decent striking displayed by Silva there.
It looks like Marcus Griffin has been cut. Silva slips under a jab from Griffin. Silva lands a left and a right that send Griffin crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Griffin is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Griffin misses with the combination.
Griffin is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him? Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Griffin seems to have recovered his senses. Silva has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Griffin circles away quickly and effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Griffin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Griffin misses with a body shot.
Griffin scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Griffin walks into a straight right hand from Silva. Griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively. Griffin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Griffin throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Griffin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Griffin throws an elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Griffin's guard. Nice move by Silva! Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Griffin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Griffin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Silva controlling from the top position. Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Griffin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Griffin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Silva is tightening it up a little... Griffin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Griffin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Griffin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!
