Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arnoldo Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Il Cheol Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arnoldo Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Il Cheol Kim! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Kim, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kim lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kim. Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shaw. Shaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kim wants to stand up but Shaw is controlling him. Shaw keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kim's head. Kim wants to stand up but Shaw is controlling him. Shaw scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Shaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kim is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Shaw stays in close to Kim's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Arnoldo Shaw just wasn't active enough. Shaw looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Shaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shaw controlling from the top position. Kim is being controlled here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shaw in side control lands a decent elbow. Shaw prevents Kim from escaping the position. Kim looks winded! Kim seems a little lost for a moment, as Shaw dominates the positioning. Kim is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shaw asserts his dominance and retains side control. Shaw taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kim for as long as he can get away with. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kim pushes Shaw away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Shaw gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Shaw scores with punches from side control. Kim is trying to buck Shaw off. Kim takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Shaw is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kim's shoulder. That is not cool. Shaw has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Shaw working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Kim is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Shaw is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. and Shaw decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kim's guard. Kim is wriggling around but Shaw manages to pass to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Shaw manages to mount him!

That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Shaw tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kim is trying to stand up. Shaw looking to control and managing it successfully. Shaw with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kim slaps away a takedown attempt from Shaw, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kim pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Shaw back to the cage. Kim follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Kim throws a nice looking combination but Shaw bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kim wants it to stay on the feet. Kim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Kim circles away.

Il Cheol Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shaw counters by clinching up. Kim is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shaw is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kim to the mat. Kim regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Shaw trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom. Kim kicks Shaw off and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Kim. Those never looked like landing. Kim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kim can do to turn this around? Shaw tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it. Some wild striking there from Kim.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim looks to land a combination but Shaw avoids it well. Il Cheol Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shaw gets a clinch. Shaw jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kim walks away with a smile on his face. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Il Cheol Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Arnoldo Shaw is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A punch combination from Kim misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Arnoldo Shaw showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
