Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molotkov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Palmer defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Molotkov is defended easily by Palmer.
Molotkov fails with the takedown
and Palmer counters with a shoot takedown. Molotkov fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Molotkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Palmer is looking to work some ground and pound but Molotkov has wrist control.
Palmer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Molotkov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palmer on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Palmer is nestled in close to Molotkov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
