Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daiju Kikuchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Chu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Chu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daiju Kikuchi! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kikuchi scores with a hook to the body. Chu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Chu getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Chu is looking to clinch but Kikuchi is avoiding it.
Kikuchi blocks a head kick by Chu.
Chu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kikuchi.
Chu connects with a leg kick. Kikuchi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kikuchi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Chu jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kikuchi missing with a left hand there. Chu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kikuchi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chu's sensitive parts. Kikuchi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kikuchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Chu is just out of range. Kikuchi moves out of range of the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick by Chu misses and Kikuchi counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kikuchi slips under a jab from Chu. Kikuchi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chu was well out of range. Poor timing from Kikuchi. Chu rushes Kikuchi and presses him up against the cage. Kikuchi swings wildly with an uppercut but Chu uses good head movement to avoid it. Kikuchi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Chu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Chu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kikuchi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chu backwards. Chu tries to land a knee to the head but Kikuchi blocks with his arms.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chu tries to land knees in the clinch but Kikuchi avoids the damage to the body. Kikuchi misses with a body punch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chu. Chu lands a damaging elbow. Chu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kikuchi backwards. Chu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kikuchi has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kikuchi lands with a right to the head. Kikuchi lands a hook that snaps the head of Chu backwards. Chu landing some nice looking knees to the body.
A short body shot lands from Chu as the two fighters clinch.
Kikuchi lands a right hand. A head punch on the inside from Kikuchi fails to land. Kikuchi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kikuchi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kikuchi lands a shoulder strike. Kikuchi tries a body shot but Chu blocks it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kikuchi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Kikuchi fails to land. Kikuchi throws a punch but it's blocked by Chu. Chu misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kikuchi.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kikuchi struggles to land a body shot inside as Chu controls his hands.
Chu throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A short uppercut from Kikuchi. Kikuchi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kikuchi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Chu is trying to maintain a safe position but Kikuchi gets an underhook and turns Chu into the cage. Maybe Chu would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Kikuchi works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chu trying to land knees to the body.

Kikuchi scores with a shot to the side of Chu's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Chu will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Kikuchi counters with a stiff right hand. Chu throws a low kick but Kikuchi moves out of range easily. Chu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A thudding body kick lands there by Kikuchi!
Chu throws a right hand that Kikuchi ducks under and follows up with a left that Kikuchi also avoids with ease. Tony Chu is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chu throws a jab when Kikuchi was well out of range. A kick lands to the mid section there for Chu. Kikuchi moves away from the strike by Chu. Chu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A looping hook to the body misses from Chu. Kikuchi does a little dance to reset his feet. Kikuchi lands with a nice body punch. Tony Chu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kikuchi with a jab. Chu misses with a right hand and Kikuchi counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chu just misses with a punch to the body.
Kikuchi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chu was well out of range. Poor timing from Kikuchi. A low kick from Chu is predictable there and Kikuchi counters with a right hand to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chu tries to land a leg kick but Kikuchi saw it coming and moves away.
Chu misses with a looping left. Chu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Chu throws a hook but Kikuchi avoids it easily. Kikuchi scores with a three punch combo!
Chu misses with a right hand and Kikuchi finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Chu throws a looping overhand right but Kikuchi ducks down to avoid it. Kikuchi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Chu takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kikuchi takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chu throws a lazy head kick and Kikuchi counters with a straight right hand. Chu swings widly with a right hand
and Kikuchi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kikuchi with a body punch. A glancing blow. Chu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Chu tries to clinch but Kikuchi is having none of it. Kikuchi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Chu tries to clinch up. Chu fails in his attempt to clinch. Kikuchi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick by Chu misses and Kikuchi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Chu. Chu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kikuchi swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chu misses with an attempted mid kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kikuchi, as that shot connected.

Kikuchi lands a nice hook to Chu's body. Chu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daiju Kikuchi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Chu jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chu tries to score with a low kick but Kikuchi moves his leg out of the way. Kikuchi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chu throws out the jab. Kikuchi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chu rather than just go for the knockout. Chu pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A slow jab from Chu misses its intended target. Kikuchi with a hook. Chu throws a head kick but Kikuchi moves out of range.
A big left from Kikuchi misses. Kikuchi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chu has time to react.
Chu is rocked! A low kick from Chu is predictable there and Kikuchi counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Oh Chu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A good leg kick by Kikuchi. Kikuchi drops Chu with a big left hand! Chu is injured, injured bad! Kikuchi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
