The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Mac.
Mac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Jones throws a series of punches but Mac avoids them all with ease.
Jones throws a leg kick
and Mac counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Mac shows good takedown defense.

Mac feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Mac changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mac showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mac passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jones is not content to let Mac control the position.

Jones is trying to work for a sweep but Mac has mounted him!
Mac tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jones is looking to improve his position but Mac isn't that keen on the idea.

Mac stands up from mount. Strange move.

Mac forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Jones is working for takedown but Mac is calmly controlling the position for now.

Mac is trying to stall.

Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mac avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mac is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mac is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mac tries to land knees in the clinch but Jones avoids the damage to the body.
Mac blocks a body shot from Jones.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Mac is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mac on the ground.

Mac has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jones should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mac has tightened it up now! Jones should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
