Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stromile Farseer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wanderlei Silva!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Farseer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Farseer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Farseer off to one side.

Stromile Farseer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva lands a nice hook to Farseer's body. Farseer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Farseer shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Farseer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Farseer.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wanderlei Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Farseer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Farseer drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Wanderlei Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
