Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rob Tracey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Wufie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - Seek & Destroy. Wufie has chosen Beg Waves as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Tracey! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zhang Wufie! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tracey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tracey misses with a two punch combination.
Tracey throws a leg kick and Wufie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wufie. Wufie tries a knee to the head but Tracey blocks it.
Tracey takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Rob Tracey has been cut. Tracey avoiding damage as Wufie throws knees to the body.
Tracey is struggling to control the position. Tracey lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Tracey on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Wufie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tracey.
Tracey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rob Tracey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tracey throws a low kick but Wufie moves out of range easily. Wufie tries to clinch but Tracey is having none of it. Tracey throws out a leg kick but Wufie moves out of range and Tracey only half commits. Tracey tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wufie has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tracey is landing a low percentage of strikes. Tracey lands a head shot. A head kick from Wufie lands but Tracey takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracey swats away the attempt to clinch by Wufie. Wufie staying out of range there. Wufie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tracey thuds his right hand into Wufie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wufie pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tracey is out of range and Wufie settles back down. Wufie plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fight stays on the outside here - Wufie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wufie throws a body kick that misses. Tracey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Zhang Wufie has been cut. Tracey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tracey lands a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wufie tries to score with a low kick but Tracey moves his leg out of the way. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wufie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tracey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tracey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Wufie tries to clinch but Tracey moves out of range. Wufie darts in and clinches Tracey up against the cage. Wufie has Tracey pressed against the cage, preventing Tracey from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Wufie lands a nice elbow. Tracey letting Wufie take a breather here. Tracey takes a knee to the side of the body. Wufie trying to land knees to the body.
Tracey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tracey lands a jab. We've been told by Tracey's head coaches at Nights Watch MMA Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Tracey throws a body punch but Wufie moves out of range. Tracey throws a hook to the side of Wufie's head but Wufie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Tracey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wufie can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wufie moves to clinch but Tracey breaks away and Tracey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wufie closes the distance looking to clinch and Tracey counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wufie tries to land a leg kick but Tracey saw it coming and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wufie closes the distance but Tracey moves to the side and Tracey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tracey misses with a hook
and Wufie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tracey thinking. Wufie throws a sloppy head kick and Tracey moves out of range easily. Tracey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wufie moves away. Tracey lands an overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tracey misses with a series of wild punches.

Tracey waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wufie. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wufie moves in looking to clinch but Tracey pushes him off. Wufie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jab by Tracey. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rob Tracey will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Tracey throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Wufie's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Tracey dives in looking to finish as Wufie flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Tracey's strikes! Tracey is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Wufie's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Wufie was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Tracey! Rob Tracey retains his featherweight title! An out of breath and clearly excited Rob Tracey thanked Fury Nutrition Inc. for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
