The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marshall clinches.
Baptiste Reno is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Marshall is defending well.

Marshall breaks from the clinch.
Baptiste Reno shoots in for a takedown but Marshall shows good takedown defense.
Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baptiste Reno swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marshall. Baptiste Reno does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Baptiste Reno counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marshall won't be happy with that.

Marshall has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Baptiste Reno has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Baptiste Reno drops back looking for a leg! Marshall is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Marshall manages to kick Baptiste Reno off! Baptiste Reno jumps back into Marshall's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Baptiste Reno got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marshall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baptiste Reno has managed to get both his arms back between Marshall's legs - danger averted.
