The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vedden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Vedden is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lincoln accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lincoln distracts Vedden with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vedden is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vedden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lincoln postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Vedden covers up, he's hurt! Lincoln keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Lincoln and the ref steps in to end the fight! Lincoln can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
