Shields fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shields dives in and grabs Nelson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes down on Shields's head and hops out.
We've been told by Nelson's head coaches at The Pit that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nelson looks to throw the jab but Shields is out of range.
