Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Barrit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Barrit! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barrit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Barrit misses with an uppercut. Ellis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ellis lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Barrit sprawling to the canvas. Ellis follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Barrit hang on?
It looks like Keith Barrit has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ellis throws a strike but Barrit avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Barrit trying to control the position here. Barrit has a closed guard, preventing Ellis from standing up. Ellis with a flurry of punches that miss. Ellis tries to free his leg and advance position but Barrit is retaining full guard. Ellis won't allow Barrit to sweep him here. Ellis wants to control from the top but Barrit keeps moving. Ellis prevents Barrit from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barrit can do anything to dispel that myth. Ellis wants to stand and escape but instead Barrit has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Barrit trying to control the position from guard on top but Ellis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ellis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ellis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barrit. Barrit looking to pass the guard. Barrit wants to control from the top but Ellis keeps moving. Barrit advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barrit throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Barrit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ellis is just riding it out for now. Barrit eventually gives up the hold. Barrit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Barrit is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Barrit working Ellis over with strikes. Barrit seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ellis is refusing to be controlled, as Barrit sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barrit is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barrit connects with a nice short shot to Ellis's temple. Barrit lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Barrit is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Barrit content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ellis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barrit with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Barrit scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Barrit working over Ellis with some ground and pound. Ellis looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Barrit working the head and body with strikes. Ellis is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ellis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Barrit scores with a couple of nice shots. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Barrit looks to score some points with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barrit shoots for a double leg takedown but Ellis sprawls well. He's pushed Barrit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ellis wants to clinch up but Barrit keeps it at a distance. Ellis with a poor takedown and Barrit counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ellis won't be happy with that. Barrit works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Barrit is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Barrit cracks Ellis with a big right hand but Ellis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barrit is chipping away with strikes.

Barrit lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ellis down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barrit in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ellis is rocked! Check out the look on Barrit's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Oh Ellis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big shot lands for Barrit! That's hurt Ellis! Will he recover? Barrit fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keith Barrit! Keith Barrit really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that iFight Fight Gear - Steel Penn logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
