Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Gleiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the ring accompanied by The Bravery - time won't let me go. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Gleiser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gracie sprawls well. Gracie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gleiser gets slowly back to his feet.

Kron Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Gleiser.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gleiser does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gleiser felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
